Following last year’s success our Grow>Cook>Eat programme will be back from this summer onwards. It will take place both as a school holidays programme and a Saturday club.
We are looking for teachers and volunteer teaching assistants to help us deliver the programme. The positions are open for school holidays and Saturdays throughout the year.
As a teacher you will be responsible for delivering the programme to children aged 8-12 in a safe and enjoyable way. You will have teaching experience and/or be currently in teacher training and you should have a demonstrable passion for healthy eating. The teacher position is a paid position.
Teaching assistants are also expected to have an interest in healthy eating and preferably you have some experience in working with young children. Teaching assistants will be supporting the teacher and be responsible for the safety and well-being of the children. The teaching assistant position is a volunteer position but travel expenses will be refunded.
For both positions a CBR check is required but can be arranged by us.
