The Big Lottery media manager, Mike Clarke (who happens to be a resident of Havering) came to interview us about the great work we’re doing and to inspire others. Our main focus now, in phase 2, is the health and well being of our communities and the development of individuals through the work we do in the garden (which is not all hard graft gardening)
You can read the interviews here which includes quotes from some of our volunteers about their experiences.
We’re very excited to receive such endorsement of the good work that we’re doing. We received funding of £333 from the Big Lottery Reaching Communities fund in Jan 15 to cover our work for the next 3 years.
Volunteering days Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 3pm all year, just turn up.
